\nKristi Noem and her dead puppy keeps staying in the news. It isn\u2019t
\nbecause gleeful Democrats are hyping the story. It\u2019s because Noem
\nherself won\u2019t back down, and just keeps digging herself into an
\never-deeper hole. First she tried implying that she didn\u2019t know
\nthe story survived the first draft and shouldn\u2019t have been in the
\nbook. The classic Scooby-Doo \u201cIf it weren\u2019t for you meddling
\nkids\u201d defense. That blew up when it came out that she did the
\naudiobook herself\u2014including the happy tale of the demise of
\nCricket. The initial \u201cfarmers have to made hard choices\u201d excuse
\ndied stillborn when she wrote, \u201cI really hated that dog.\u201d <\/span><\/code><\/p>\nNow
\nshe\u2019s pointing to Biden\u2019s German shepherd, Champion, who
\nreportedly bit a dozen or so Secret Service agents. She\u2019s saying
\nthat Biden should have shot the dog. She didn\u2019t say if Biden
\nshould have dispatched Champion live from the oval office, or in
\nfront of a joint session of Congress (it really could have been an
\nexcellent opportunity for Biden to turn to the Republican side and
\nsay, \u201cIf the Supreme Courts says I have absolute immunity, you lot
\nare next.\u201d). Maybe Biden could have discussed responsible pet
\nownership while in the backdrop behind him, a couple of vengeful
\nsecret service agents stuffed a yelping Champion into a running wood
\nchipper. It would have given Biden true Sarah Palin cred, you know?<\/span><\/code><\/p>\nBut
\nNoem, Republican to her empty core, refuses to back down, still
\nhoping she can turn it into a campaign where she is the innocent
\nvictim of \u201cwoke\u201d libs. Maybe she could have took a flamethrower
\nto a couple of live kittens just to show she can\u2019t be bullied by
\nlunatic leftist pansies and commies. <\/span><\/code><\/p>\nBut
\neven Donald Trump, yes, Donald Fucking Trump, wondered aloud what was
\nwrong with her. It takes real talent to make him feign being
\nappalled. This is the guy who ripped off a children\u2019s cancer
\ncharity, right? His standards are...flexible. <\/span><\/code><\/p>\nTo
\nbe sure, his reaction is performance art. He\u2019s probably watching
\nto see if she survives the political storm, and even though she
\ndidn\u2019t get invited to Donald\u2019s meat parade of Veep picks for
\nbillionaires, she\u2019s probably still on his list. He doesn\u2019t care
\nhow vile she is. In fact, he prefers vile. He just wants to know
\nhow mindlessly loyal she would be. His last Veep toad was such a
\ndisappointment, you know.<\/span><\/code><\/p>\nHis
\nfans, while shrinking, are even more vehement. They adore it when he
\nbehaves like a pig. That\u2019ll show those libs! They push for worse
\nand worse behavior from GOP candidates, since viciousness, cruelty,
\nrudeness and pure arrogant stupidity are seen as virtues among those
\ndeplorables. After all, those are what Trump expects from his
\nclosest minions. Michael Cohen wasn\u2019t his main lawyer for twenty
\nyears because Cohen was a nice guy. He was as dirty and nasty as any
\nmafia torpedo. His autobiography could have just as easily been
\ntitled \u201c...But Take the Cannoli.\u201d<\/span><\/code><\/p>\nMeanwhile,
\nRepublicans keep vilifying refugees, immigrants, Muslims,
\nAfrican-Americans, and now students. Never mind that America\u2019s
\nNazi population have all gravitated to the GOP; Republicans are
\nattacking all critics of Netanyahu as being \u201canti-Semitic\u201d even
\nthough most of them value Israel for the demented Bible-based
\nRevelation belief that the state of Israel must exist in order for
\nthe Rapture to occur. Jews are just God bait in their eyes.
\nNetanyahu isn\u2019t their friend, but he is chum. Trump praises people
\nwho are Nazis as \u201cvery fine people\u201d and attacks critics of Israel
\nand in his base, at least, gets away with it. <\/span><\/code><\/p>\nAIPAC
\nsupport Trump, of course. <\/span><\/code><\/p>\nWhat
\nTrump supporters don't understand is that supporting him doesn't
\nautomatically make them safe in his New World Order. History suggests
\nthe opposite, in fact. Strongman leaders know their truest believers
\nare gullible, feckless, erratic, easy to manipulate, and unreliable.
\nAfter all, they already betrayed their country once. So unless Trump
\nsupporters can find a way fast to make themselves useful to the new
\nFuhrer, he's just going to throw them away like used condoms. Read
\nrecent history: the early years of Lenin, Hitler, and Mao. They
\nquickly filled the camps with their truest believers, and executed
\nmany more. Look up \u201cNight of the Long Knives.\u201d<\/span><\/code><\/p>\nThe
\ncorporate execs who back Trump doubtlessly think they can control him
\nonce he takes office. But Trump sees them as a useful prop. He
\nisn\u2019t going to reciprocate their loyalty, and once his mass
\ndeportations and tariffs create a Great Depression, he\u2019ll blame
\nthem bitterly for the chaos and deprivation his policies have caused.
\n If the Supreme Court has anointed him King at that point, expect him
\nto start hanging CEOs publicly.<\/span><\/code><\/p>\nOh,
\nyes, and Republican office-holders can feel free to resume shooting
\npuppies in this Brave New World. It\u2019s not like they\u2019ll be good
\nfor anything else under Glorious Leader. They will be justice of
